I think it was a second and third round pick to the Fins and the Fins turned it down, right?

I just read that the Vikings are seriously interested in Schaub. And guess what. They have an extra 2nd round pick now(from us for Culpepper). So basically, to them its like giving up their 3rd round pick. DOH!

Man you guys better not let him go. You'll be kicking yourselves for another 5 years.

Im trying to find the article (I read it the day after the Daunte deal was done when the details came out regarding Brees, Culpepper and Schaub)...but the Fins offered a second round. Atlanta offered him up for a 2nd and 3rd round and Saban said no way (he hates giving up draft picks as it is.) At the same time, Brees wouldnt back down from his guaranteed money that NO was throwing up...so Culpeeps was the obvious choice for a no. 2 pick.

Now if the Vikings are in the mix, the have that second 2nd round pick sitting there so the price tag isnt so high to them. Especially when they have a starting QB thats been in the league for 15 years and a no name backup behind him.

All I've read from falcons peeps is that they won't give him up unless they (Falcons) can get a capable backup out of it.
