The Falcons will send a first-round pick (No. 15) to Denver in exchange for their first-round pick (No. 29 overall), a 2006 third-rounder, and a 2007 fourth-round pick. The Falcons then send the 29th overall pick to the Jets for Abraham. It's a great deal for the Falcons and Jets, who get exactly what they want. The Broncos are paying a lot to move up the 15th pick, but now have two of the first 22 picks overall. Abraham and Patrick Kerney could cover up a lot of ills for the Falcons defense.
Hmm. Give up a 1st for Abraham, 3rd this year, and 4th next year. A little steeper than what I was wanting.
