not saying he's even close to doing that... but i find it highly entertaining to follow various sites/threads where you have a small handful defending him, and the vast majority saying he's the worst QB to ever play... lol makes fer some gooood reading either way :D

Charlie Sheen gets shelled by a batter... and as the ball sails towards the bleachers, one fan turns to the other and says "it's too high... too high"

basically... I don't give a shit about HOW the ball gets there, as long as it does. VY led the nation in passing efficiency... led the team to an undefeated season (having to take the team on his back and WIN THE GAME himself a few times - OSU, OSU2, USC)... and showed more poise and ability to run a team under extreme pressure as I've seen in a long time. He only hits open receivers? lol... perhaps that's because he knows how to read a D and find the open guy... or perhaps the D is so keyed on him that guys get open easier (is that a knock on him?)
all the peeps screaming about his release are just as dumb as the "too high" guy. Don't matter how the ball gets there as long as it does.
Chris Simms was the KING of having balls batted down at the line... and he was the same height as VY (6-4). VY has had nowhere NEAR the number of balls batted at the line... because he's good at finding passing lanes by moving in the pocket so well.

my vote wasn't for "who do i think is better" it was fer who had the prettier release... uncle rico is too funny not to vote for. i mean, he practices like mad and watches his own film to improve :)
that said, i'm a VY defender :P
as fer the "release point"... VY is so freakin' tall that even by releasing the ball lower, he's still releasing it higher than peeps like drew brees :P
having said that, i enjoy all the debate, good and bad... it's good entertainment and we'll all know/see soon enough :D
