LOL we went to EB games today (gary wanted to pick up a game) - they offered us a service plan on our game... wtf?

Gary said he wouldn't shop there anymore, since they open all the games and take the cds out (to prevent theft) - he went trying to buy a copy of EQII DOF, and they removed the CDs, but left the CD key LOL. Surprise surprise, the cd key was used.

...

I mean besides paying their overhead for mall leases and whatnot?

Easier just to hit Best Buy (unless there's not one around) or another store of the same type.

Only one time did we have a less than optimum experience, but that turned out for the best because we got a hell of a deal on our Sony Grand WEGA LCD TV at DeSears because they didn't have the plasma TV we were looking at in stock for a month or more.

However, thus far it's been the go to place for games and DVDs (especially anime DVDs)

At all.

They threw me out in the computer dept. (where, granted, I know a bit, and usually enough to tell the average person what they needed to know) with no info.

In all honesty? If I didn't know an answer (and it seemed like the customer wouldn't know the difference anyway) I'd make one up.
