No need - the French government has capitulated and pulled the law, so there should be no protests on the streets :)

Driving over via Normandy and will visit Mont St Michel before going over to Paris for a few days. On the way back we'll be visiting the D-Day beaches and museams - not been there for 20 years or so, looking forward to it.
