married peeps, does your wedding ring ever itch?

i guess this applies to anyone who wears rings. my ring rubbing up against my middle finger makes it itch like freaking crazy all day and it never stops until i take it off. and then the wife goes "cry cry your ring is off wtf"

whats up with that? does that go away? i dont know why it took 6 months to start itching. does my finger get used to it eventually?
