freaking ridiculous in av. the duration is crazy.
lol. all i know in AV is if i get feared im dead. youd think if i was afraid or fleeing id run AWAY from the attcking forces...but i seem to run right into aoe

the main justification is that blizzard didn't like the fact that priests could fearbomb and people would be "out of control of their character" for however long the duration was.
so they raped fear, and instead of 5 people being feared and "being out of control of their character" for 10 seconds, the priest gets a 3-4 minute corpse run.

In instanced pvp...I get feared every fight. So it's not like I can break it that often.

I rarely have a need to ks a priest though. Cheap shot priest, SS, gouge. Wait...SS again, take fear. Break fear (hehe)....evis priest. Dead priest.
If I don't break fear...the priest is using that time to heal and bubble again. Um, ok...I'm out of fear and just 5 pt evis you. Repeat the process and priest still dies.

lol but I could always blow the trinket or the bubble to get out of it if someone definitely needed healing. If no one was in immediate need of the whambulance, I just stayed sheeped and didnt blow the cooldowns.

It is the longest duration in the game. It *can* be broken early but it's like a druid root...lasts longer if you're not taking damage. Fucker can last like 15 seconds. That's almost worse than poly or sap in my opinion.
