#1, this day shouldn't be any different than any other - yeah, raise awareness, i get it.

#2, my kids came home having been ordered by their teachers to tell their parents that they can't drive their cars, mow their lawns, etc today. dear teacher - mind your own f00king business.

#3, the environment (in the US anyway) is better today than it was 10, 20, 30 years ago. the air is cleaner, the water's cleaner, there's more forested lands, the population has doubled yet our agri-production lands are smaller, etc. so stfu with the annual berating of people about how f00king awful everything is.

mainly because it's raining on Earth Day and I wouldn't have been able to mow it today. :)

yeah the environment has improved in many ways. so we should stop caring? do you honestly think that there is some harm in dedicating a day to awareness?

i think you've grown so resentful of PC-dom and environmentalists that you've gone to the dark side--where you have actually turned against the environment just to spite environmentalists.
