something wrong with first-person cameras?

WoW = washout... started out promising, bait and switch + the technical stability of UO during its absolute worst days = dropped.

UO = solid standby for 8 years, retained end game value, however current round of changes are HORRIBLE and the client upgrades have been less than stellar on release.

Civ 4 = one of two current games, but not something to take up weeks or months at a time... a game here and there though.

DS2 = playing again seeing how it goes.

So... what's next?

Camera was one of the big issues I had with Morrowind and it seems they're using the same thing for Oblivion

I HATED in Morrowind trying to find what the hell was attacking me because my character/viewpoint had a SEVERE case of tunnel-vision.

But that's the problem with the FP viewpoint when applied to a computer monitor... no peripheral vision to speak of... makes the game cumbersome IMO.

I prefer being a bit of a distance away ala UO/Diablo/DS/WoW/etc.

Especially games like Burnout Revenge..

I just pop on and play for an hour or so a night, don't really need to commit a ton of time to it..

Lots of fun..
