There's one guy Ken Johnson, pitched a 9 inning no hitter... and lost.
Next guy, Andy Hawkins for the 1990 Yankees pitched a no-hitter for 8 innings and lost. Couple walks and two erros did him in. The very next game he pitched a shutout (9 innings 2 hits 1 walk) but the score was tied 0-0. In the 10th he gives the ball to his bullpen... which blows it. Oh ya, that's gotta suck. lol
